In 1975 a group of golfers decided they would like to form the Merrick Road Park Men's Club. Their home course would be the 9 hole Merrick Course, which was built in 1967. It was designed by Frank Dunne
The club's mission is to foster sportsmanship, camaraderie, and competition in a sport which is enjoyed.
In order to encourage a level of challenge that is higher than the average golfer finds at this course, the Men's Club plays from the Blue Tees.
